Seborrheic keratoses and skin tags
In the last 18 months, I have seen some ugly warty-like brown spots on my body fall off. They were mostly on my upper torso. They were another thing that came along with the diabetes. I started realizing recently I had less and less of these things I call barnacles to the point that they have disappeared. I could literally scrape them off and there was no scar underneath even. I mentioned it to my hubby and he started checking and realized that his were gone also. We both have had skin tags dry up and fall off also.
Medically this is what I have seen dissappear. Interesting article.
This is another area that eating low carb high fat has and is healing my body. It is mind blowing how damaging eating a high carb diet can be. I never dreamed that the way I ate not only caused inflammation in the body and the diabetes, but the barnacles and the skin tags. These should have been a warning sign but no one every alerted me. From my own personal experience I can definitely say that eating Keto aka low carb high fat has reversed the barnacles and skin tags.
If you are diabetic and not keeping your blood sugars under control, there is not much sense in removing the skin tags. They will just grow back. Get rid of the sugar first and then you will see them dry up. Again…speaking from experience!
Until next time!
