The first thing I made in our new oven was my Keto biscuits and the house smelled wonderful.
Here is the recipe. I don’t even remember where I got this so can’t give credit to whoever came up with it.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
1 ½ cups of almond flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of salt
1/3 cup of sour cream
1/3 cup of shredded cheddar (or your favorite cheese…I love Parmesan, but my hubby doesn’t so I stick to cheddar.)
1 teaspoon of garlic powder (and whatever herb you like in your biscuits)
Drop by the spoon into muffin pan that has been rubbed or sprayed with coconut oil.
Bake until light golden brown 10 to 12 minutes.

I keep my leftover biscuits in the fridge and pop them in the microwave to reheat.
Add a sausage patty and you have a great sandwich. (Add your macros for the patty.)
Note: I have changed this up when we have guests for morning coffee and left out the cheddar and garlic and added 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and a couple tablespoons of Swerve. Great with a chunk of butter. (This will change your macros also when you delete the cheese.)
A little health note. Somehow in the midst of the unpacking I started having rashes and horrible itching breaking out. It comes and goes. I knew it was not the paper and boxes with all the packing and unpacking we had done since May. Thought it might be the new carpet and chemicals from being a new build. Went to the dermatologist yesterday and she said it was a virus that will take six to eight weeks to leave my body. Started in the palms of my hands and it moves around. Crazy! So now I have a steroid cream to use when I need it for the next couple of weeks. Hmm? The virus will last six to eight weeks, but can only use the steroid cream for the next two weeks. So what happens after that? Hmm?
Have an appointment with a new primary care doctor in a couple of weeks. Will be interesting to see if she is going to be friendly towards Keto. I will take my last three blood work results to hand to her.
Check out Dr. Eric Berg on YouTube. He has a bunch of new videos out on Keto and teaches about a lot of different issues we come across.
